Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 15, 2026

Agora ๐ŸŒ is a project of VirtuaMakers ๐Ÿฆœ. This page explains what information we collect when you use Agora, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than dense legal boilerplate.

Information We Collect

When you sign in to Agora, we receive basic account details from whichever provider you use โ€“ your name, email address, and profile photo from Google or X, or just an email address if you sign up directly.

Anything you choose to add to your own Agora profile โ€“ a bio, links, socials, pictures โ€“ is stored so it can be displayed on your public profile page. You control what you add and can edit or remove it.

We don't run analytics trackers or ad networks on Agora, and we don't collect information beyond what's needed to run your account and profile.

How We Use Information

We use your information to operate your account, display your profile to other members, and communicate with you about Agora if needed (for example, account or security notices). We do not sell your information to anyone.

Third-Party Sign-In

Agora uses Google and X to let you sign in without creating a new password. When you use one of these, you're also subject to that provider's own privacy policy for how they handle your data on their end โ€“ we only receive the basic profile information the provider shares with us.

Data Storage

Account and profile data is stored using Firebase, a Google Cloud service, in a project dedicated to Agora and separate from our other products.

Cookies & Local Storage

Agora uses cookies or local browser storage only to keep you signed in between visits. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your Rights

You can edit or remove anything on your profile at any time once profile editing is available. If you'd like your account or data deleted before that feature exists, just email us and we'll take care of it.

Children's Privacy

Agora is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Agora grows. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
